Psychological services provided by Dr. Adams include psychodiagnostic evaluation and psychotherapy for patients with anxiety, depressive and trauma related disorders as well as somatic symptom disorders including conversation and pain.

Atlanta Medical Psychology has provided treatment of injured workers within the workers’ compensation system.   The practice has specialized in the treatment of chronic pain and disability determination.  Concurrently, pre-surgical examination in the area of implantation for pain management and bariatric procedures for weight loss have long been performed by the practice. 

The practice consults to Boards of Education and Police Departments in areas of Fitness for Duty and need for Family Medical Leave. 

The education and training area has provided seminars, workshops, lectures and other educational materials for medicine, nursing, law, business and the insurance industry.
